Términos de uso

Estos términos regulan el uso de SYL Events (events.sylroofingsupply.com), la web de capacitaciones y eventos de SYL Roofing Supply, distribuidor de materiales de techado con sedes en Winter Garden, Kissimmee y Tampa (Florida, EE. UU.). Al inscribirte en un evento, apuntarte a los avisos o enviarnos un mensaje, aceptas estos términos.

1. El servicio

En SYL Events puedes consultar las capacitaciones, demos técnicas y lanzamientos que SYL Roofing Supply organiza, a menudo junto a los fabricantes que distribuye, e inscribirte en ellos. Son gratuitos salvo que la página del evento diga expresamente lo contrario. No hace falta crear ninguna cuenta.

2. Tu inscripción

• Te inscribes desde la página de cada evento con tu nombre, correo, teléfono y empresa. Los datos deben ser veraces: los usamos para confirmarte la plaza y avisarte de cualquier cambio.
• Si vienes con gente de tu equipo, indícalo en el mismo formulario. Un comercial de SYL también puede inscribirte en tu nombre.
• Las plazas de cada sede son limitadas y se asignan por orden de inscripción. Cuando se llena el cupo, la inscripción se cierra.
• Al inscribirte recibes un correo con tu código QR de entrada. Es personal: enséñalo en la puerta el día del evento. Te enviaremos también un recordatorio la víspera.
• Si al final no puedes ir, avísanos por WhatsApp o desde la página de Contacto para que tu plaza pueda aprovecharla otra persona.

3. Cambios en los eventos

SYL Roofing Supply puede cambiar la fecha, la hora, la sede, el contenido o los ponentes de un evento, o cancelarlo, por causas organizativas o ajenas a su control. Si ocurre, te avisaremos al correo o al teléfono que nos diste. Al ser eventos gratuitos, un cambio o una cancelación no da derecho a compensación.

4. Durante el evento

• Sigue las indicaciones del personal de SYL y las normas de seguridad de la sede.
• El contenido técnico lo imparten SYL o los fabricantes invitados con fines formativos. Para instalar un producto, sigue siempre las instrucciones y la documentación oficial del fabricante y la normativa aplicable.
• En algunos eventos SYL puede tomar fotos o vídeos para su web y sus redes. Si prefieres no aparecer, díselo al personal o escríbenos.

5. Reseñas, encuestas y mensajes

• Solo pueden dejar reseña quienes asistieron al evento. Deben basarse en tu experiencia real y mantener un tono respetuoso. SYL las revisa antes de publicarlas y puede no publicar o retirar las que incumplan estas normas.
• No está permitido usar los formularios de la web para spam, para suplantar a otra persona ni para ninguna actividad ilegal.

6. Avisos de capacitaciones

Si te apuntas a los avisos, te escribiremos cuando abramos una capacitación nueva: un aviso por capacitación. Apuntarte no te reserva ninguna plaza. Puedes darte de baja cuando quieras respondiendo «baja» a cualquier aviso o escribiéndonos.

7. Propiedad intelectual

La marca, el logo y los contenidos de SYL Events pertenecen a SYL Roofing Supply. Las marcas y logos de los fabricantes (como GAF, Owens Corning, TAMKO o VELUX) pertenecen a sus respectivos titulares y se muestran porque SYL los distribuye o colabora con ellos. Usar la web no te da ningún derecho sobre ellos.

8. Responsabilidad

Cuidamos que la información de la web sea correcta y esté al día, pero la web se ofrece «tal cual». En la medida en que lo permita la ley, SYL Roofing Supply no responde de daños indirectos derivados del uso de la web ni de interrupciones del servicio ajenas a su control.

10. Cambios y ley aplicable

Podemos actualizar estos términos; si el cambio es relevante, lo indicaremos en esta página con una nueva fecha. Estos términos se rigen por las leyes del Estado de Florida, EE. UU.

Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of SYL Events (events.sylroofingsupply.com), the training and events website of SYL Roofing Supply, a roofing materials distributor with branches in Winter Garden, Kissimmee and Tampa (Florida, USA). By registering for an event, signing up for alerts or sending us a message, you accept these terms.

1. The service

On SYL Events you can browse the training sessions, technical demos and launches that SYL Roofing Supply organizes, often together with the manufacturers it distributes, and register for them. They are free unless the event page expressly says otherwise. You don’t need to create an account.

2. Your registration

• You register on each event’s page with your name, email, phone and company. Your details must be accurate: we use them to confirm your seat and let you know about any changes.
• If you’re bringing people from your crew, say so on the same form. An SYL sales rep may also register you on your behalf.
• Seats at each branch are limited and assigned in order of registration. Once an event is full, registration closes.
• When you register, you receive an email with your QR entry code. It’s personal: show it at the door on event day. We’ll also send you a reminder the day before.
• If you end up not being able to come, let us know on WhatsApp or through the Contact page so someone else can take your seat.

3. Changes to events

SYL Roofing Supply may change an event’s date, time, venue, content or speakers, or cancel it, for organizational reasons or reasons beyond its control. If that happens, we’ll let you know at the email or phone number you gave us. Since events are free, a change or cancellation does not entitle you to compensation.

4. At the event

• Follow the instructions of SYL staff and the venue’s safety rules.
• Technical content is delivered by SYL or invited manufacturers for training purposes. When installing a product, always follow the manufacturer’s official instructions and documentation and the applicable codes.
• At some events SYL may take photos or videos for its website and social media. If you’d rather not appear, tell the staff or write to us.

5. Reviews, surveys and messages

• Only people who attended an event can review it. Reviews must reflect your real experience and stay respectful. SYL reviews them before publishing and may decline or remove those that break these rules.
• You may not use the website’s forms for spam, to impersonate someone else or for any illegal activity.

6. Training alerts

If you sign up for alerts, we’ll email you when we open a new training: one alert per training. Signing up does not save you a seat. You can unsubscribe anytime by replying “unsubscribe” to any alert or by writing to us.

7. Intellectual property

The SYL Events brand, logo and content belong to SYL Roofing Supply. Manufacturers’ brands and logos (such as GAF, Owens Corning, TAMKO or VELUX) belong to their respective owners and are shown because SYL distributes or works with them. Using the website gives you no rights over them.

8. Liability

We take care to keep the information on the website accurate and up to date, but the website is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, SYL Roofing Supply is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the website or for service interruptions beyond its control.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; if a change is significant, we’ll show it on this page with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
